Laser Surfacing Solutions is a joint venture company between Hardchrome Engineering and Swinburne University of Technology. This company utilises the state-of-the-art laser facility that has been established at the Swinburne University’s Hawthorn campus in Melbourne and comprises a high-power Nd:YAG laser delivered through a 0.6 mm diameter optical fibre. This has been combined with a four-axis integrated CNC system providing a wide range of manipulation options.
